John D. Howard, 75, of South Annville Township passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021.

Born September 7, 1946 in Campbelltown, he was a son of the late Lloyd and Vertie (Sattazahn) Howard.  He was also preceded in death by brothers Harold, Kenneth, Lloyd, and Donald and sister Linda Clark.

John retired from Essis & Sons, enjoyed hunting, fishing, visiting Hollywood Casino and going to camp where he rode his four-wheeler.  His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family, grandchildren and extended family.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years Della J. (Boltz) Howard; children Tammy J., wife of Jeff Kerkeslager, John M., husband of Cindy Howard and Marlin L., husband of Michelle Howard; siblings Robert Howard, Martha Flanagan and David Howard; grandchildren Heather Lundsted, Amber Howard, Ryan Howard and Cole Howard; and canine daughter Snooki.

A funeral service will be held 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a viewing from 11:30 a.m.  Interment in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.
