John D. “Pa” Kissinger, Sr., 92, of Annville, died on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Lebanon Valley Home.

He was born on Monday, December 16, 1929, to the late Claude Kissinger and Sara Kissinger nee Sohn in Lebanon.

He was a veteran of the Army and enjoyed gardening, watching racing, and was a sports collector. John also liked watching the Phillies, bowling, and puzzles.

Surviving is children Barbara A. Duricko, John D. Kissinger, Jr. and spouse Sandra; grandchildren Eric Himelright and spouse Amy, Brian Himelright and spouse Jodi, Brad Himelright and companion Madeline, Kevin Kissinger and spouse Stacy, Shannon Kissinger; great-grandchildren Tyanna Himelright, Hailey Himelright, Jayson Kissinger, Ashley Kauffman, Spencer Kissinger.

He was preceded in death by his wife Anna E. Kissinger nee McLaughlin; siblings Claude Kissinger and Amelia Cowden.

Viewing will be on Thursday, June 23, 2022, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Christman’s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon. Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, on Monday, June 27, 2022, at 9:30 AM.
