On Saturday, October 23, 2021, John H. Shanaman of Lebanon passed away a the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Bonita (Bossler) Shanaman to whom he was married for 39 years.

John was born on July 18, 1950, to William and Betty (Backert) Shanaman. He grew up in Newmanstown, PA.

John was a trap maker at Woostream Corp for 44 years. He was an avid NASCAR and wrestling fan. In his free time, he enjoyed watching racing and wrestling and collected racing memorabilia.

He is survived by his wife, Bonita, son Joey L. Shanaman, husband of Rebekah (Houser) Shanaman, of Myerstown; grandchildren Morgan T. Shanaman, Alexa T. Shanaman, and Samuel I. Shanaman. John is also survived by his brother William Shanaman, of Myerstown, PA, Harold, husband of Edith Shanaman, of Stevens, PA, Ronald, husband of Mary Shanaman, of Denver, PA, and sister Stella Doster, of Reinholds, PA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Betty, daughter, Holly Shuey, and brother Allen Shanaman.
