John Jacob Hartmoyer, 69, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026, at his residence. He was the husband of Catherine L. (Savant) Hartmoyer.
Born in Lebanon on Feb. 11, 1957, he was the son of the late John and Laverne (Stickler) Hartmoyer. John graduated from Lebanon High School with the Class of 1975. He was the Director of Maintenance at Country Meadows Retirement Community and retired in 2022. He enjoyed golfing, biking, gardening, and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. John was dedicated to his faithful dog, Shep. Because of his maintenance background and generous heart, he was always willing to help family, friends, and neighbors in need.
In addition to his devoted wife of 40 years, John is survived by his loving daughter, Morgan Hartmoyer, wife of Matthew Albaugh; sister, Debra, wife of James Klingler; brother, Stephen, husband of Sue Hartmoyer; sisters-in-law, Julie Shuyler and Patricia, wife of the late Louis Savant; former brother-in-law, Kerry Shuyler; nieces, Tina Duplass, Jennifer Davis, Lauren Shuyler, and Bethany Hartmoyer; and nephews, Lou Savant, Tony Savant, James Savant, Corry Hartmoyer, and Michael Klingler.
There will be a celebration of life at 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Hebron Banquet Hall, 701 E. Walnut St., Lebanon, PA 17042.
