John O. Moschella, 90, of Myerstown, died on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at United Zion Retirement Community, Lititz, PA.

He was born on Saturday, June 6, 1931, to the late Alfred Moschella and Gilda Moschella nee Tartaglia in Bronx, NY. He last worked as a manufacturing engineer and was a veteran of the Air Force in the Korean War as well as a small business owner. John was a resident of Long Island, NY until 2003 when he relocated to Myerstown to be closer to his children. John was a gymnast in his youth and maintained an active lifestyle his entire life. He particularly enjoyed time at the beach swimming and meeting friends at the YMCA. Friends and family will miss John’s positive attitude and zest for life.

Surviving are children, Loretta Moschella, John Moschella and spouse Ferne, Lydia Luca and spouse Robert and grandchildren Mathew Moschella, Julia Moschella, and brother Alfred Moschella and spouse Marie. He was preceded in death by his wife, Angela Moschella nee Palazzo, and son Thomas Moschella.

Services will be at a later date at the Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
