John Walter Harrell, 77, of Lebanon passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at his
residence. He was the husband of Mary A. (Deck) Harrell, with whom he celebrated 47 years in marriage.

John was born in Lebanon on June 1, 1945, to the late Rudolph and Pauline (Ainsworth)
Harrell.

He attended South Lebanon High School. He retired from Lebanon Seaboard after
working 36 years. He was a member of South Lebanon Community Church, formerly Midway Church of the Brethren. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going on vacations. The greatest enjoyment in John’s life was his family, spending time with them, especially his granddaughters.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, John W. Harrell, III and his wife Andrea
of Lebanon, Janelle High and her husband Sheldon of Lebanon, granddaughters, Alayna, Mishia, Madeleine, and his siblings, Richard Harrell and his wife Janice of Lebanon, Joyce Lester and her husband Fred of Richland, and Polly Jenkins and her husband Roy of Wolmelsdorf, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Rudy Harrell and Eddie Harrell.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at 11 AM from South
Lebanon Community Church, 13 Evergreen Road, Lebanon. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. There will be a visitation from 10 AM until 11 AM at the church.
