Jon Dillard Ream, 75, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Oct. 16, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Harry and Mary Ream.

Jon spent several years at Bethany’s Children’s Home and attended Conrad Weiser High School. He dedicated over 50 years to the local automotive industry, taking great pride in his work and the friendships he built along the way. After many adventures, he settled down, owning and operating Jon’s Auto Center at 41 Cumberland St. in Lebanon for the majority of his career in Lebanon: his home and the town he loved. A lifelong NASCAR enthusiast, Jon loved the thrill of the local racing circuit and never missed a chance to talk cars. Years ago, Jon operated Penn National Speedway as the general manager, allowing him to fulfill his dream of running a race track.

Above all, he cherished his grandchildren, delighting in every opportunity to spoil them, share stories, and make them smile. Jon will be remembered for his generous heart, willingness to help others, and ability to build lasting friendships. His legacy lived on in the morals he shared, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely.

Jon is survived by his wife, Kathy; son, Derek; daughter-in-law, Lisa; grandchildren, Kaitlynn and Derek Jr.; and brother, Thomas, and his wife, Cynthia. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Roger, Terry, and Ronald; and sisters, Mary Meininger and Joyce Kohler.
