It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Josefina Altagracia Estevez, who left this world peacefully on Sept. 28, 2025.
Josefina was born in the Dominican Republic and later made her home in Brooklyn, NY, where she raised her family and touched the lives of many. In her later years, she lived in Lebanon, PA, surrounded by the love of her children and grandchildren.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Josefina is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Judy Nunez and Wanda Estevez; sons, Junior Estevez and Julian Estevez; and cherished grandsons, Joseph Estevez, Sabdriel Payera, Shawn Rodriguez, Johnelly Fabian, and Jeremy Nunez.
Josefina was a homemaker whose cooking brought joy and comfort to everyone who gathered around her table. Known for her big heart and generous spirit, she always opened her home to anyone in need and made sure no one ever felt unwelcome. Her love for her family was unwavering, and her warmth will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
