Joseph D. Arnold, Jr., 66, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021, at the WellSpan GSH in Lebanon. He was the husband of Sharon E. Whitman Arnold. On May 12, 2020, they celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary.

Born in Lebanon on Jan. 23, 1954, he was the son of the late Joseph D., Sr., and Eleanor Light Arnold. Joe had worked for Bethlehem Steel and had retired from H & K Contractors, where he was a vacuum truck driver. He was a life member of the Rural Security Fire Co. and was a diehard Green Bay Packers fan. He enjoyed spending time and joking with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Wendy J., wife of Jeremy Brandt, of Jonestown, and Jessica L. Arnold, and her companion, Josh Haulman, of Lebanon, brother, Douglas Arnold, of Lebanon, and grandchildren, Miranda, Joshua, Mason, and Ella.

A viewing and visitation with the family will be held on Friday, Jan. 22, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown.
