Joseph J. Dolan, 70, of Cleona died Saturday, August 15, 2020 in his residence. He was the husband of Patricia Ann M. Farnsworth Dolan with whom he would have celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary this August 26, 2020.

Born in Ashland, PA on December 1, 1949, he was the son of the late Francis and Clara Miller Dolan. He was employed in maintenance at the New Cumberland Army Depot.

Joe was a U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans, a member of the Annville American Legion Post 559, and the Annville V.F.W. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies fan and enjoyed traveling with his wife Patty.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, is a son John J. Dolan of Jonestown, grandchildren Jayda L. Dolan, Kaliyah Dolan, Summer H. Cooke, and Noah H. Cooke, two sisters Ernestine wife of Franklin Beddow of Mechanicsburg, Mary McAndrew of Ashland, a brother Robert Dolan of Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter Kelly Ann Grierson.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at 12:00 noon at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 125 S. Spruce St., Annville. Inurnment will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with Military Honors. A visitation will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. – 12 noon at the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Contributions may be made to Tunnels to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306 in his memory.
