Joseph S. Bylina III, 65, of Bethel, entered the Eternal Kingdom of Heaven on Oct. 17, 2025.
Born in West Reading on March 24, 1960, he was the son of the late Joseph S. Bylina Jr. and Mary Ann (Emerich) Bylina. He had been a member of the Laborers’ International Union of North America since 1983. Joe worked at Miller Pipeline and various other union pipeline companies as a foreman. He retired on July 26, 2019.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he loved his hot rods. He had achieved the Pennsylvania Game Commission Triple Trophy twice in his lifetime, which is the accomplishment of harvesting a whitetail buck, a black bear, and a wild turkey within the same license year. He was the proud owner of a 1946 International Truck known as “Big Daddy” and a 1968 AMC Rambler known as “Tweety.” You would often find him cruising around town with a Mt. Dew in hand.
Joe is survived by his son, Dustin S. Bylina, and his wife, Jessica, of Lebanon; brothers, Tony L. Bylina, of Lawrenceville, Daniel S. Bylina, of Bethel, Michael R. Bylina, of Bethel, and Jeffrey A. Bylina, of Windsor Township.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Mary Ann Bylina, who passed away on July 7, 2023, and Joseph S. Bylina Jr., who passed away on Dec. 12, 2001.
A viewing for Joe will be held on Friday, Oct. 24, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown.
In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to drink a Mt. Dew, do a burnout, and enjoy wildlife in honor of Joe.
