Josephine Gorman, 71, of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 9, 2021, with family by her side. She was born on Friday, March 24, 1950, to the late Charles Brown Sr. and Esther (Lingle) Brown. She is survived by her loving husband Arthur Gorman, Jr.
Josephine was a graduate of Palmyra High School, class of 1968. She went on to continue her education in Baltimore at Nursing School, she practiced as a nurse at St. Edmond’s Home for Children, Rosemont. She was a faithful member of the Campbelltown United Methodist Church and in her spare time, she enjoyed doing crafts and making greeting cards. Most importantly she was a loving wife, sister, and aunt.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her brother, Tom Brown and wife Debbie, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister Roberta Adams.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. at the Campbelltown United Methodist Church, 2760 Horseshoe Pike, Palmyra, PA 17078 with Pastor Bill McNeal officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the start of the service. Burial will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
