Joyce I. Kreiser, 67, of Jonestown, passed away on Friday, Dec. 22, 2023, at her residence. She was the wife of Benjamin W. Kreiser. They celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary this past May 18.

Born in Lancaster County on Jan. 13, 1956, she was the daughter of Mamie I. (Eberly) Kleinfelter, of Annville, and the late Stanley L. Kleinfelter.

Joyce graduated from Annville-Cleona High School with the Class of 1973. She worked as a clerk for Boscov’s until she retired 12 years ago. Joyce was a member of Moonshine United Zion Church, where she taught the children’s Sunday school class. She was involved in Child Evangelism Fellowship, was passionate about collecting Boyd’s Bears, and enjoyed going to the camp in Potter County.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her brothers, Kenneth L. Kleinfelter, of Lebanon, Ricky L., husband of Debra Kleinfelter, of Annville, Roy J. Kleinfelter, of Myerstown, and Randy D. Kleinfelter, of Annville; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister-in-law, June Kleinfelter.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023, at the Moonshine United Zion Church, 701 Moonshine Road, Jonestown. There will be a viewing on Friday evening from 5:30-8 p.m. at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown, and one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
