Judith A. Hostetter, 75, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Monday, Feb. 15, 2021, at her home. She was the wife of Verling C. Hostetter. On August 24th, they would have celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary.
Born in Swatara Twp. on Nov. 19, 1945, she was the daughter of the late John and June Clements Spitler. Judith was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Lickdale, where she was involved in the Women’s Ministry. Judy enjoyed crafting, baking cookies, and especially spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons Verling, Jr. (Lori) Hostetter, of Bethel Twp., Troy (Sally) Hostetter, of Palmyra, and Brian K. Hostetter, of Swatara Twp., brothers John and Peter Spitler, both of Jonestown, sisters Sandra Hartman, of Jonestown, Barbara Rhoads, of Pine Grove, Patricia Brandt, of Pine Grove, and Kathy Welch, of Lebanon, and her four grandchildren, Ashley Koons, Ashton Davis, Katelyn Hostetter, and Colton Hostetter.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Crystal M. Hostetter.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, services will be held at the convenience of the family.
