Judith A. “Judy” Nachison, 84, of York, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 11, 2025.

Born in Lebanon, PA, Judy was the daughter of the late Earl and Verna (Long) Zartman. She attended Bloomsburg University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in education, and continued to teach in the Derry Township School District as a first-grade teacher until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and attending auctions. She was a kind, caring, and giving person who always put others before herself. She loved spending time with her family and making holidays always fun and memorable.

Judy is survived by her daughters, Tiffany J. Rymoff-Linta (husband, Jeffrey), of Steelton, PA, Tammy J. Rymoff, of San Diego, CA, and Tawnya J. Rymoff, of Wrightsville, PA; granddaughter, Callie A. Rymoff-Rice; sister, Cindy Moser (husband, Gary), of Hagerstown, MD; and cousin, Nancy Zareck, of Palmyra, PA. She is also survived by Steve J. Embick and Ronald W. Wharton.

Judy was preceded in death by her sisters, Jean Hartman and Linda Zartman; and companion, Lenny Borkon, of Lancaster, PA.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Grand View Memorial Park, 500 N. Weaber St., Lebanon, PA 17046. Those desiring to attend should meet at the cemetery office upon arrival.
