Julia Lembesis, 90 of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully January 27th at her home surrounded by her loving husband and family.

Born on January 13, 1930 in Lancaster, PA to James and Mary Gardner.  She was the loving wife of John Lembesis with whom she shared 70 years of marriage.

She was predeceased by her only son Michael, her infant daughter, Evangelia, her loving brothers, Tommy, Nick and Johnny, and a great grandson, Joey.

She is survived by her husband John, her brother Mike, daughters Maria Logan, Olga Lembesis Battista, Sophia Nelms and Joanna Lembesis, thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great grand children and three great-great grandchildren.

Her career spanned working at the Hershey Chocolate factory to working closely with her husband in his painting and hardware businesses. But she could always be found in a kitchen, baking at home, or at Kitchenworks.

She had a passion for bingo and spending time with her family, not sure, which was first.

Services will be held at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Thursday January 30.  Visitation 10:30, Service 11:30.
