Julio Juan Ortiz, 74, of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019 at his residence. He was the husband of Rosael (Torres) Ortiz.

Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on June 12, 1945, Julio was a son of the late Amalio and Paula (Correa) Ortiz. He worked at the Bethlehem Steel foundry and then for Millers Quarry for many years. He enjoyed preaching, writing poems, and playing with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Julio is survived by four children, Ray, Johnny, Betty, and Andy Ortiz; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; four brothers, Pablo, Carlos, Angel, and Guiso Ortiz; and many nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, December 29th from 5-8 PM at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 South 9th Street, Lebanon, and Monday, December 30th from 9-11 AM at Compañerismo Cristiano Familiar, 337 North 8th Street, Lebanon, followed by a service at 11:00 AM at the church.
