June E. (Miller) Rittle, 90, passed away on Monday, Nov. 29, 2021, at StoneRidge Towne Centre, Myerstown.

Born in Tulpehocken Twp., Berks, on April 4, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Paul H. Miller and Elsie (Berger) Miller, formerly of Myerstown. She was the wife of the late Paul L. Rittle, who passed away on April 30, 2017. They were married on May 14, 1950 and shared 67 years together.

She was a member of Zion “Gosherts” UCC, and she was a graduate of Myerstown High School class of 1949. She was a secretary for Whitmoyer Laboratories in Myerstown for 12 years, and, for 31 years, she was the secretary to the administrator of the ECC Retirement Village (now the StoneRidge Towne Centre) in Myerstown, from where she retired in 1993. She was a member of the Eastern Star.

She and her husband were members of the Antique Auto Club of America, the Hershey Region, and the PA Dutch Region AACA for over 40 years and enjoyed many trips and activities relating to old cars and trucks. They were also members of the Jay Gee Travelers Camping Club of Shillington and enjoyed traveling, camping, bus trips, and family get-togethers.

She is survived by two daughters, Karen Koppenhaver (Eugene), of Myerstown, and Karla Basselgia; a grandson, Lukas Basselgia, of Lebanon; and siblings, two brothers, Kenneth (Sandra) Miller, of Bringhurst, IN, and Donald (Arlene) Miller, of Mt. Gretna, and a sister, Nancy (Michael) Hentz, of Myerstown. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and a brother-in-law, Jacob Haldeman, of Myerstown.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Leona Haldeman, and a brother, Kermit Miller.

There will be no viewing. She wishes to be remembered as she met you on the pathway of her life. Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
