June E. Watson of Annville passed away on Thursday, October 27th, 2022, which was her 80th birthday, at the Lebanon Valley Home, after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. She is survived by her husband of over 58 years, William K. Watson.

Born in Lebanon, PA, on October 27th, 1942, she was the daughter of the late A. Herman and Myrtle V. (Bachman) Light.

After graduating as the Valedictorian of the Lebanon High School Class of 1960, June was employed by the law firm of Meyer, Brubaker, and Whitman, and later as the Executive Assistant to the Dean of Humanities for Penn State Milton S. Hershey School of Medicine. A lifelong member of Rocherty United Methodist Church, June served as Church Organist, Children’s Sunday School Teacher, Bible School Teacher, Choir Director, and Church Treasurer. On the last Saturday in July, she could be found cooking hotdogs for the annual Rocherty Picnic. She will be greatly missed by her Church, friends, and family.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a brother, Alvin B. Light, husband of Sandra M. of Lebanon, a sister, Kathleen A. Watson, wife of Thomas G. of Lebanon, two nieces, Lori Wright, Anne Light, and a nephew, David Light.

A public visitation will be held from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2022, at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main St. Annville, PA 17003. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rocherty United Methodist Church, 255 Village Drive, Lebanon, PA 17042, in her memory.
