Karen M. Bressler, 65, of Myerstown, passed away on Monday, Dec. 13, 2021, at her home. She was the wife of Charles H. Bressler. On Aug. 19, they celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary.

Born in Lebanon on July 24, 1956, she was the daughter of Mary Boltz Kreiser, of Fredericksburg, and the late Jonas Kreiser.

Karen had worked as a nurse’s aide for Berks Heim Nursing & Rehabilitation, until her retirement. During tax season, she worked for H&R Block.

She attended the Lebanon Area Evangelical Free Church. Karen loved to go camping, play games, and especially, spend time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and her mother, she is survived by her sons, Troy D. Bressler, of Myerstown, Gerald M., husband of Sonya Bressler, of Fredericksburg, and Mark D. Bressler, of Schaefferstown; her brother, Dale Kreiser, of Fredericksburg; and eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 20, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park, N. Annville Twp.
