Kathryn Zeigler Carpenter, 85, formally of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at the Spartanburg Hospice House in Spartanburg, SC. She was the wife of the late Ralph P. Carpenter.

Born on December 31, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Carrie M. (Fidler) Zeigler.

Kathryn graduated from Lebanon High School with the Class of 1954. She retired as a bookkeeper for the Lebanon Senior Center in 2012. Kathryn enjoyed collecting angels and traveling.

She is survived by her son Bruce E. husband of Margaret Carpenter of Gaffney, SC; grandchildren Ashley wife of Brian Schildt and Megan Carpenter; daughter-in-law Sandy Carpenter of Lebanon; and brother Walter A. Zeigler of Lebanon.

She was preceded in death by her son Brian S. Carpenter, brothers James H. Zeigler, William E. Zeigler, Sr., and Charles E. Zeigler, and sisters June Zeigler, Betty M. Casey, and Violet Brown.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Covenant Greenwood Cemetery, Lebanon.
