Kayla D. Turner, 28, of Lebanon, went home to be with the Lord after a long battle with cancer, on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024, at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Lebanon, PA, on Aug. 12, 1996, she was the daughter of the late Howard Turner Jr. and Christine Redd, of Lebanon.

Kayla was a student at Harrisburg Area Community College and a member of Faith Baptist Church in Lebanon. She enjoyed swimming, gymnastics, playing piano, roller blading, and bike riding. Kayla was also very talented and creative with arts and crafts.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are a daughter, Demetria L. Turner, of Lebanon; a sister, Christine N. Turner, of Lebanon; a niece, Michelle Turner; a nephew, Mason Cruz; two aunts, Dororthy Graham, of Maryland, and Ruth Redd, of Maryland; two uncles, James Redd, of Maryland, and Jerome Redd, of Arizona; and a cousin, Yolanda Graham, and her daughter, Ava, of Maryland.

In addition to her father, Kayla was preceded in death by her grandfather, James Redd; her grandmother, Ruth Redd; and two uncles, Duke Allen and Douglas Redd.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, at Faith Baptist Church, 220 S. 22nd St., Lebanon, PA 17042.
