Kenneth D. “Ken” Bomgardner, 66, of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at his residence. He was the husband of Priscilla G. (Ruder) Bomgardner, with whom he celebrated 37 years in marriage.

Ken was born in N. Annville on Oct. 12, 1954, to the late Harvey and Mildred (Blauch) Bomgardner. He was a graduate of Annville Cleona H.S. and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Ken was a US Army and US Marine Corps veteran. He had worked as a farmer on his brother’s dairy farm and recently had been a forklift driver.

Ken had attended Hershey Free Church and taught 3rd-grade boys Sunday School. He enjoyed reading his Bible, theology, and military history and loved to share with others what he learned. He liked hiking, taking walks, and keeping up to date with world current events.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Benjamin Bomgardner and his wife Sarah, of Elizabethtown, Nathaniel Bomgardner and his wife Laura, of Jonestown, Abigail and her husband John Zimmerman, of Myerstown, seven grandchildren, Judah, Ezekiel, Maeve, Mira, Grace, Anna, John, and his siblings, John Bomgardner and his wife Margaret, of Ono, Nancy and her husband Milt Huber, of Annville, Barbara and her husband Carl Deaven, of Annville, Mark Bomgardner and his wife Debbie, of Klingerstown, Sonny Bomgardner of N. Lebanon, Jane and her husband Steve Upperman, of Chambersburg, and David Bomgardner and his wife Sharon of Annville.

A memorial service will be held on April 17, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at GracePoint Church, 740 Leon Ave, Palmyra. Interment will be held privately at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.
