Kenneth L. Dissinger, 91, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at Neffsville Nursing & Rehabilitation in Lancaster.
Born in Cleona on May 12, 1933, he was the son of the late Sterling S. and Betty (Shenk) Dissinger.
Ken graduated from Annville Cleona High School with the Class of 1952. He held many jobs over the years. He finished his working career as a communications specialist with the Dade County School District in Miami, FL. He attended Lebanon Gods Missionary Church when he could. Ken enjoyed reading, traveling, attending church services and camp meetings all over the country, being part of historical societies, and researching family genealogy.
He is survived by his children, David M., husband of Adrianne Dissinger, of Findley, OH, and Cynthia Jo Thomasson, of Elizabethtown; eight grandchildren; and brothers, Jay F., husband of Pearl Dissinger, of Hummelstown, and Robert, husband of Joanne Dissinger, of HI.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth E. Dissinger; brother, Mervin Dissinger; and former wife, Joyce Dissinger.
Funeral services will be on Monday, July 8, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Lebanon Gods Missionary Church, 2127 Hill St., Lebanon, PA 17046. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to the start of the service. Interment will be at Mt. Annville Cemetery, Annville.
