Kenneth M. Martin, 81, of Myerstown, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at his home. He was the husband of Rhoda S. (Kauffman) Martin.
Born in Ephrata on Dec. 20, 1943, he was the son of the late Ivan Z. and the late Esther M. Martin. Ken was employed for many years at Weaver Star Silos and was currently employed as a mechanic at Automatic Farm Systems. He was a member of the Elm Street Mennonite Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Lamar (Sharon) Martin, of Lebanon, and Vernon (Angie) Martin, of Newmanstown; daughters, Marilyn (Merle) Ebersol, of Bethel, and Loretta (Daniel) Martin, of Burns Lake, BC, Canada; daughter-in-law, Maryann (Clinton) Oberholtzer, of Myerstown; brothers, Galen (Ruth) Martin, of Myerstown, Ivan Jr. (Doris) Martin, of Myerstown, Dennis (Geraldine) Martin, of Newmanstown, Clinton (Ella) Martin, of Newmanstown, and Merle (Gina) Martin, of Lebanon; 29 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald; brother, Myron, husband of Lorene Martin; sister, Geraldine, wife of Elvin Stauffer; grandson; and great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 12, 2025, at the Swatara Mennonite Church, 10 Camp Swatara Road, Myerstown. There will be a viewing from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at the church. Interment will follow the service in the adjoining church cemetery.
