Kenneth M. Spangle, 76, formerly of Lititz, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at the WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital. He was the husband of Frances J. Lockard Spangle. On November 25, 2020, they would have celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary.

Born in Altoona on August 24, 1943, he was the son of the late Samuel M. and Betty Dunmire Spangle. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. Ken graduated from Shippensburg University and was an elementary teacher in Duncansville. He worked for Junior Achievement and later Goodwill Industries & various trucking companies. He spent most of his career in management for PJAX Trucking until his retirement. He was a member of the Grace Brethren Church in Lititz.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons Robert M. Spangle of Mechanicsburg and Jeffrey M. Spangle of Lemoyne; sister Judith Baird of Duncansville; and his aunt Jean Brown of Clarksburg, WV.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 31, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown, PA 17038. A viewing will be held beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
