Kenneth R. “Ken” Hoover Jr., 61, of Lebanon, passed away on Monday, Oct. 9, 2023, at The Lebanon VA Medical Center.
Ken was born in Vallejo, CA, on Jan. 6, 1962, to the late Kenneth R. Hoover, Sr. and Sue A. (Weaver) Hoover.
He had worked as a lab technician at Kirman Eyeglass in Hummelstown. He was a disabled U.S. Army Veteran. His hobbies included reading and collecting various antiquities.
He is survived by his wife, Dixie E. (Fach) Hoover; his sons, Shawn Hoover (wife, Jessica), and Chris Hoover; daughter, Jennifer Miller (husband, Brandon); four grandchildren, Damien, Faith, Jaxson, and Willow; a brother, Michael Hoover (wife, Cindy); and a sister, Cathy Kidd.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, with military honors. There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
