Kenneth R. Myers, 86, of Annville, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025, at his home. He was the husband of the late Eleanor L. (Long) Myers.
Born in Annville on Oct. 20, 1938, Ken was the son of the late Ira and Mildred (Wheatman) Myers. He retired from the Plumber & Pipefitters Local 520. He worked for G. R. Sponaugle & Sons Inc. for 35 years. Prior to that, he worked for 10 years at Hershey Estates. He enjoyed going to auctions, hunting, fishing, farming, playing golf, and playing cards.
Ken is survived by his sons, David L. Myers, of Annville, and Michael S. Myers, of Annville; daughter, Karen M., wife of Scott Hoerner, of Annville; grandchildren, Matthew R., husband of Sarah Hoerner, of Myerstown, and Lindsey N., wife of Ben Krug, of Palmyra; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel L. Myers; and brothers, Rolston, Richard, and Donald Myers.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. A viewing will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Lemberger’s Cemetery, East Hanover Township.
