Kerry A. Gettle, 51, of Lebanon, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024, at his home.

Born in Lebanon on June 19, 1972, he was the son of Dennis G. and Betty C. Gustager Gettle of Myerstown.

Kerry retired as a Chinook helicopter mechanic from the U.S. Army after 29 years of service. He was a member of the Hummelstown American Legion Post 265. He enjoyed golfing, dirt track racing, and going to the Indy 500. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sons, Joseph D. “Joey” Gettle, of Annville, and Paul T. (Makayla) Gettle, of Clarksville, TN; brothers, Kevin G. (Kristi) Gettle, of Myerstown, and Keith A. Gettle, of Richland; and grandson, Beckett.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, June 24, 2024, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment with military honors will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
