Kevin K. Hostetter, 36, of Myerstown, passed away Monday, May 10, 2021. He is survived by his childhood sweetheart and loving wife of 5 years, Jody M. (Faust) Hostetter.

Born in Lebanon, PA on August 2, 1984, he was the son of Mildred (Moyer) Wenzler, of Denver, and Eric, husband of Cindy Snyder, of Myerstown.

He was a graduate of Eastern Lebanon County High School, Class of 2003. Kevin served in the Marine Corps for eight years, doing a tour of Iraq, and was later given an honorable discharge. Kevin’s talents were many, but most of all he was an extremely devoted husband and father. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and listening to music. Kevin also enjoyed spending time with loved ones at the local Demolition Derby. He belonged to the Marion Rod and Gun Club, Richland, and VFW Post 6076, Myerstown. Kevin was employed as a mechanic at Maine Drilling and Blasting, Bethel.

In addition to his wife and parents, Kevin is survived by daughters, Zowey M. Zimmerman, of Myerstown, Hazel G. Hostetter, of Myerstown, and son, Parker C. Hostetter, of Myerstown, sisters, Jessica, wife of Matthew Zimmerman, of Lebanon, Erica Snyder, of Lebanon, Kayla Wenzler, of Denver, brother, Jeffrey Hostetter, Jr., of Denver, maternal grandparents, Randall, husband of Penny Kimmel, of Hegins, mother and father-in-law, Earl, Jr. and Kathy Faust, of Myerstown, sister-in-law, Kelly, wife of Michael Rhoad, of Fredericksburg, nieces, Kayla, Emma-Leigh, Madelyn and Gabrielle, nephews, Logan, Ethan, Dylan, Troy, and Brody, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his adopted father, Jeffrey Hostetter, Sr.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 14, 2021, at 12:30 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 300 W. High St., Womelsdorf, preceded by a viewing beginning at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. The service will be live-streamed on Zion Lutheran Church’s Facebook page for anyone who is unable to attend.
