Kim Marie Santiago, 56, of Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Reading. Born in Lebanon on May 2, 1963, Kim was the daughter of William R. Nelson and Patsy (Kreiser) White.
She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Lebanon. She enjoyed trips to the beach and casinos, watching game shows (especially Jeopardy), and spending time with her grandchildren. Her heart was big and her home was a revolving door for family and friends. Kim was actively involved in Alcoholics & Narcotics Anonymous and was so proud to have been clean and sober for 12 years.
She is survived by three children – Jorge Guzman, Jr., Benito Santiago, and Essence Green; four grandchildren – Journie Santiago, Kali Gardner, Jenysis Guzman, and Gabriel Santiago; three siblings – Tammy Haag, Richard Nelson, and Kristy Grassi; her stepfather, William White (“Pop”); step brother, Michael White; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Amy Jo Nelson.
Funeral services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kim’s name may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 3544 North Progress Avenue, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
