Kim R. Deitz, 66, of Lebanon, passed away at home on Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by James O. “Jim” Deitz Jr., with whom she celebrated 50 years.

Kim was born in Lebanon on Feb. 7, 1959, to the late Mark Weierbach and Shirley (Shaud) Weierbach. She was an assistant manager at Walmart. She enjoyed watching TV, cooking, baking, reading Amish books, attending family gatherings, being outdoors, camping, playing cards, and racing. Family time was the most important time for Kim.

Surviving, in addition to Jim, are her children, Michael A. Deitz (Janet), of Pittsburgh, Jason R. Deitz (Stacey), of Lebanon, and Stacy N. Deitz-Zimmerman (Kevin), of Lebanon; grandchildren, Jacob, Michael Jr., Nichole, Sean, Phoebie, Austin, Ethan, Adrian, Brayton, and Shyanne; great-grandchildren, Josiah and Linda; and siblings, Penelope “Penny” Ryan, of York Haven, Brenda Freeland, of Palmyra, and Kelly Jo Snyder, of Treverton. Kim also has several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Douglas Weierbach; and granddaughter, Kimberly.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, Aug. 11, 2025, at 11 a.m., from Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park, Lebanon. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
