Larry James Funk, 75, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, Nov. 28, 2025, at MS Hershey Medical Center.

Larry was born in Lebanon on Oct. 24, 1950, to the late Walter and Betty (Yiengst) Funk. He obtained his master’s degree and was a schoolteacher and principal within the education system. Larry was very influential among students and teachers. He enjoyed community theatre, visiting New York City, going to Broadway, and traveling to Cape May, Hershey Theatre, and Gettysburg.

Surviving are his daughter, Meagan C. Wright, of Conestoga; and sister, Linda Nicholson, of Lebanon.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026, at 10 a.m., at Penn Cinema, 541 Airport Road, Lititz, PA 17543.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Gettysburg Foundation, 1195 Baltimore Pike, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
