Larry L. Manbeck, 78, of Bethel, died on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, at his residence. He was the husband of Betty M. (Hibshman) Manbeck, to whom he was married for 58 years on Nov. 4, 2025.
Born in Lebanon, PA, on Feb. 11, 1947, he was a son of the late Robert and Mabel (Killinger) Manbeck. A 1965 graduate of Bethel High School, Larry attended St. John’s Church, Mount Aetna. He was employed as a truck mechanic at Miller’s of Robesonia for 35 years, retiring in 2013. Larry enjoyed hunting.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Donna, wife of Shawn Hinkle, of Sinking Spring; sons, Shannon, husband of Angie Manbeck, of Reading, Steven, husband of Teri Manbeck, of Lebanon, and Michael Manbeck, companion of Amy Best, of Rehrersburg; grandchildren, Zachary, Derrek, Zoe, Carter, and Connor; step-grandchildren, Rebecca and Samuel; brother, Richard, husband of Jerrilyn Manbeck, of Gold Canyon, AZ; and two nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026, at 4 p.m., at St. John’s Church, 5 E. Mill St., Mount Aetna, preceded by a visitation beginning at 3 p.m. Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
