Laura E. Ramer, 96, of Richland, passed away on Monday, Aug. 19, 2024, at the Race Street House in Richland. She was the wife of the late J. Ralph Ramer.

Born in Limerick Township, she was the daughter of the late Irvin J. and Cora E. Shank King.

She was a member of the Swatara Mennonite Church.

Laura is survived by her sons, Dale E. (Shirley) Ramer, of Austin, PA, Douglas A. Ramer, of Myerstown, and James (Rhoda) Ramer, of Myerstown; sister, Almeda Stoltzfus, of Wellsboro; 17 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, John Ramer; daughter, Sharon Ramer; brothers, Myron (Edna) King, Tilman King, and Aaron (Betty) King; and sisters, Leona King, Evelyn Mumaw, Clara King, and Cora King.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024, at the Swatara Mennonite Church, 10 Camp Swatara Road, Myerstown. There will be a viewing held at the church on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. Interment will follow the service in the adjoining church cemetery.
