Laverne M. Garloff, 78, of Lebanon, passed away on Monday, Dec. 15, 2025, at the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in York. She was the wife of John L. Garloff Sr., and they celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary in June.
Born in Lebanon on Jan. 13, 1947, she was the daughter of the late George H. and Irene M. (Boone) Reigle. Laverne graduated from South Lebanon High School with the class of 1964. She had her own dog grooming business and did dog breeding. She attended Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Laverne enjoyed country dancing, crocheting, motorcycle riding, boating, and seeing her granddaughter and great-grandchildren being born.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, John L. Garloff Jr., and his wife, Debbie, of Lebanon; granddaughter, Courtney A., wife of Austin T. Sullivan; great-grandchildren, Parker A. and Finn P. Sullivan; brother, Bradley G. Reigle, of Ocala, FL; and beloved boxer, Molly. She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy J. Garloff.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. until the start of the service. Interment will follow at Kochenderfer Cemetery, Lebanon.
