Lee Roy Keaton, 55, of Grantville, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022, in Rehoboth Beach, DE. He was the husband of Elizabeth A. (Wentling) Keaton, with whom she celebrated 30 years in marriage.
Lee was born in Lebanon on July 2, 1966, to Roy Lee and Karen (Rhoad) Keaton, of Hummelstown.
He obtained his associate degree from HACC. He had recently retired after 30 years of working for Hershey Chocolate.
He was a member of Christ Church United Church of Christ in Annville, where he was the past president of the consistory and enjoyed singing in the choir. He was a member of Masonic Mt. Lebanon Lodge, Palmyra Lions, Jacees in Palmyra, and Local 464 – Chocolate Workers, where he served as a trustee. Lee enjoyed organizing family get-togethers, singing, bowling, being on a Monday Night Bowling League for 37 years, fishing, and being an avid Phillies and Washington fan. Lee also enjoyed watching his sons play sports.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are his sons, Logan Keaton and Jared Keaton of Grantville, sister-in-law, Rebecca Wentling and her husband Rob Yoder, nephew August, niece Rose, mother-in-law, Gloria Wentling, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022, at 2:30 PM from Christ Church UCC, 200 S. White Oak Street, Annville. Interment will be in Shells Cemetery, E. Hanover Twp. There will be a viewing from 1 PM-2:30 PM at the church.
