Lee W. Sholly, 90, of Lebanon, passed away at home on Saturday, May 2, 2026. He was the husband of Annamae J. (Saltzer) Sholly. They celebrated 66 years of marriage in April.
Born in Mount Zion, he was the son of the late Wayne L. and Gladys E. (Schlaseman) Sholly. Lee graduated from Gettysburg College and Rutgers University. During his banking career, he worked at Lebanon County Trust and served as director of the Jonestown Bank and Trust. He was active with his children, grandchildren, church, and community, including Lebanon County Council of Churches, Lebanon Rotary Club, Lebanon Jaycees, Lebanon County and PA Bankers Association, Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce, and United Way of Lebanon County. He was also a member of the former Avon United Methodist Church, where he held many administrative positions.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Ann Sholly (John Wellenbach), Mary Imboden, and Katie Dubiel; grandchildren, Nicholas, Ellen, William (Tara), and Alaina; great-grandson, Miles; sister, Arlene Zellers; brother-in-law, Martin Cronlund; and many nieces and nephews. Lee was preceded in death by his brother, Warren Sholly, and his wife, Grace; sister, Colleen Cronlund; brother-in-law, Rev. Earl Zellers; and son-in-law, Dr. Henry Dubiel.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 12 p.m., from Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Inurnment at Zion Goshert’s Cemetery later that afternoon. A visitation with his family will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of his service at the funeral home. The service will be livestreamed via the funeral home website.
