Leon O. Dailey, 96, of Lebanon County, died on March 19, 2026. He was married to Caroline (Reese) Dailey for 74 years.

Leon was born in Red Rock, OK, a son of the late Dewey W. and Susan (Caleb) Dailey. He was a member of the Eagle Clan of the Otoe-Missouria Indian tribe. While serving in the U.S. Army at Fort Indiantown Gap, he met his wife. He worked in construction for most of his working career. He was an active member of Jonestown Bible Church, where he taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. Leon and Caroline were enthusiastic supporters of many Annville-Cleona High School sports teams. He also enjoyed watching a variety of sports on television.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Robert L. Dailey (Shirley), of Cleona; and daughters, Sharon K. Davis (Buddy – deceased), of Snow Hill, NC, Susan C. Dailey, of Lebanon, and Lisa A. Swarr (Kevin), of Millersville. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven C. Dailey (Pat – deceased); and siblings, Dewey Dailey, Calvin Dailey, Rupert Dailey, Antoine Dailey, Cecile Williams, and Madonna Muller.

Leon had seven grandchildren: Robert J. Dailey (Jaclyn), Jennifer L. Boehmer (Jeremy), Marie A. Gough (Kent), David Davis (Michelle), Ben Dailey, Matt Dailey (Emily), and Jason Swarr; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 10 a.m., at Jonestown Bible Church, 14 Silvertown Road, Jonestown, PA 17038. Public viewings will be held on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville, and on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of his service at the Church. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be sent to Jonestown Bible Church.
