Leonard L. Leibold Sr., 86, of Annville, passed away suddenly on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026, in his garage, surrounded by everyone who loved him. He was the husband of Ruth I. (Himmelberger) Leibold. On Oct. 12, they celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary.

Born in Manheim on Feb. 16, 1939, he was the son of the late Leon R. and Lomie (Showers) Leibold. Following high school, Leonard served for eight years in the U.S. Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was the owner and operator of Leibold’s Garage for 55 years and ceased operations at the end of December 2025. He was a member of the Mount Lebanon Lodge #226 and the VFW.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Leonard L. Leibold Jr., of Annville; daughter, Juanita M., wife of Jeffrey Kreiser, of Jonestown; grandson, Leonard L. Leibold III; and granddaughters, Chalen Leibold and Elizabeth R. Kreiser. He was preceded in death by his brothers, John H. Leibold and Leon R. Leibold.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. There will be a Masonic service at 8:45 a.m., followed by the viewing from 9 a.m. until the start of the service. Interment with military honors will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
