Lester F. Snavely Jr., 78, of Lebanon, PA, passed away peacefully on Aug. 23, 2025, at Cedar Haven.

Born on Sept. 20, 1946, in Lebanon, PA, to the late Lester and Annabelle G. (Sholly) Snavely, Lester lived a life filled with dedication, community service, and love for his family.

Lester was a proud member of the Lebanon community, known for his significant contributions both in work and play. He worked as a newspaper carrier for the Lebanon Daily News and was previously employed by Cleaver Brooks. For over 20 years, he was an avid athlete, playing baseball and softball, which brought him joy and camaraderie with friends and family.

A man who valued service and fellowship, Lester was an active member of the Navy Club, the Friendship Fire Company, and the Lebanon Legion. His commitment to these organizations reflected his deep sense of community and strength of character.

Lester is survived by his sister, Deborah Harley; loving brother, Thomas Snavely (Judy); and several nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss him dearly.
