Lillian Sarah Smetana, 78, of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021, at home. She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Smetana.
Born in Lebanon, PA on April 25, 1942, Lillian was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Ruth (Stoudt) Lehman. Lillian enjoyed crocheting blankets and paint by number pictures. She had many items displayed in her home. She enjoyed Bingo even though she didn’t win too many times. Lillian had a soft spot in her heart for her dogs, Laddie, Misty, DJ and Kong over the years.
Lillian lived for her children, Ruthann (Carl) Hornickell, Joseph Paul Smetana Jr., and Jodi (Frank) Sauter. She was very proud of her three grandsons, Ryan, Christopher, and Cameron. She would tell everyone that Ryan was a Marine. Christopher gave her the first great-grandchild and Cameron is an electrician apprentice. She enjoyed looking at pictures and listening to stories of her great-grandsons, Carson and Jace. She is also survived by her sister, Marion (William) Snoke.
The family would like to give special thanks to the wonderful people at WellSpan Hospice, and thank you, Bonnie, for taking care of Lillian as you would your own family.
Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements. Please share your memories with the family at our online guest book at thompsonfuneralhomelebanon.com.
