Linda L. “Linny” Lauer, 69, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020, at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Born in Lebanon on May 29, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Wilma (Brown) Lauer.

Linda worked in housekeeping at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon for more than 30 years. It was there that she fostered lifelong friendships with countless coworkers. Work was Linda’s way of socializing because being a “homebody” was where she found comfort. She loved animals and always made a special effort to care for the stray cats in her neighborhood. She will be missed by all of her four-legged friends, especially her dog, Corky, and cat, Princess.

Linda is survived by three children, Cory A. Lauer, and his fiancé, Mary Santiago, Lewis L. Lauer, and Tammy Betz-Knight, and her husband, Clarence; six grandchildren, Corissa, Cory Jr., Delaina, Tyler, Kayla, and Hannah.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda’s name may be made to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N.
