Linwood H. Michael, 78, of Jonestown, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at his residence. He was formerly married to friend Nancy E. Ritchie of Greenpoint.

Born in Greenpoint on July 1, 1942, he was the son of the late Kenny R. and Viola E. (Kreiser) Michael. After high school, Linwood served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a custodian for many years at the Northern Lebanon High School, he also worked many years for Bethlehem Steel and in the family sawmill business. He enjoyed hunting, traveling, cooking projects, smoking meats, and, most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughters Vicki A.M. wife of Jon Anderson, of Seward, NE, Michelle L. Kremser, of Grantville, and Tammy S. wife of Kenneth Hopman, of State Road, NC; grandchildren James A. Lausch, Jr., Kevin D. Lausch, Justin S. Brannen, Shane T. Boyle, Andreanna M. Kremser, Jacqueline S. Kremser, Jonathon M. Anderson and Sebastian X. Anderson; great-grandchildren Brigdon T. Boyle and Jace S. Brannen; brothers Kenneth R. and Ronald E. Michael, both of Greenpoint, Chester P. Michael, of Fredericksburg, and Larry W. Michael; and sister Irene S. Beam, of Greenpoint. He was preceded in death by brothers Woodrow E. and Richard R. Michael.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Interment with military honors will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
