Liselotte “Lilo” Huber, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Aug. 20, 2025, at the age of 100 at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital.
She was born on Jan. 28, 1925, in Berlin, Germany, to the late Matthias and Helene Blaier, and later made her home in Myerstown, PA. Liselotte lived a vibrant life filled with love, laughter, and a remarkable sense of humor.
Liselotte dedicated her career to the garment industry and hostess in many restaurants in Manhattan and Queens, NY. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, including crossword puzzles, solitaire, crocheting, knitting, and baking. A fan of British television and current events, she retained a sharp wit and an engaging presence that those around her cherished deeply. Lilo was a faithful Christian and attended Bridge of Hope Church in Womelsdorf, PA. We thank God for her sweet, strong, and loving spirit.
Liselotte is survived by her loving daughter, Monica Baebler, and son-in-law, Kim Baebler. She was a proud grandmother to Tiana Brajkovich and Nicholas and Thomas Baebler and a delighted great-grandmother to Nicholas Baebler and Ella Brajkovich, who will carry her spirit and warmth forward. She was preceded in death by her brother, Werner Blaier.
Liselotte Huber leaves a legacy of love, resilience, and humor, cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered in the hearts of those she touched.
