Lloyd D. “Don” “Dude” Reitz, 87, of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024, at Spang Crest. He was the husband of Judy A. (Beard) Reitz.

Lloyd was born in Grantville, PA, on Sept. 18, 1937, to the late Roy R. and Madeline (Colstock) Reitz.

He served in the U.S. Army Reserve and U.S. Army National Guard, having served with the 101st Airborne. Lloyd worked for The Hershey Company as a laborer/machine operator in the kiss department. He was a member of the Palmyra Sportmans Club, the National Turkey Federation, and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving is a daughter, Brenda Lee Reitz, of Rehrersburg; grandchildren, Brittni and Amber; great-grandchildren; and siblings, Joe Reitz, of Manda Gap, and Robert “Toots” Reitz, of North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by siblings, Jack Reitz, Jay Reitz, Forest Reitz, Madeline Greis, and Martha Lynn Meyerhoffer.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, Oct. 18, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St. There will be a viewing held from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held privately at Grand View Memorial Park.
