Lloyd M. Light Jr., 83, of Myerstown, PA, died on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2026, at Myerstown Nursing and Rehab. He was the husband of Deanna M. Light, to whom he was married on Sept. 14, 1963.
Born in Lebanon, PA, on April 20, 1942, he was a son of the late Lloyd M. and Helen J. (Buchter) Light. A 1961 graduate of South Lebanon Schools, he served in the U.S. Navy. Lloyd worked at Calcite Quarry, Bethlehem Steel, and retired as a custodian at Northern Lebanon School District. He was a member of St. Jacob’s Kimmerlings Church, Lebanon.
Lloyd is survived by his daughters, Christine M. Light, of Myerstown, and Angela S. Sauder, of Lancaster; grandchildren, Ryan J. Phipps, Trista R. Trout, and Joel Trout; and great-granddaughter, Ameyamia Sulayman. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rebecca L. Trout; and brother, Ronald Lee Light.
Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 11 a.m., at Grose Funeral Home Inc., 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, PA, preceded by a visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment will be at Host Cemetery, Bernville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jacob’s Kimmerlings Church, 1 St. Jacob’s Dr., Lebanon, PA 17046.
