Loida Fonseca-Reyes, 68, of Lebanon, went home to heaven on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024, at her home. She was the wife of Javier Garcia-Cruz, of Kissimmee, FL.
Born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, on April 23, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Carmelo Fonseca-Falcon and Belen Reyes-Rivera.
Loida loved sewing, reading, cooking for their holiday gatherings, and spending time with her beloved Rottweiler, Spike. She especially will be remembered for her reading the Bible, praying, and, most of all, her love for the Lord.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Joel Garcia, husband of Lisa Rivera, of Kissimmee, FL, and Josue Garcia-Fonseca, husband of Yasmine Garcia, of Lebanon; daughter, Loida, wife of Alex Hernandez, of TN; sisters, Yolanda Fonseca, of Bayamon, Puerto Rico, and Luz Fonseca, of LA; nine grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Carlo Fonseca.
A time of visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home, 5 Camp Meeting Road, Jonestown. The service will follow at 6 p.m. Interment will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday at the Kochenderfer Cemetery, Lebanon.
