Loretta Jean (Tobias) Seibert, 69, went to be with the Lord on November 24th, 2024. She passed away unexpectedly at her home in Lebanon.

Born in Lebanon on August 29th, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Norman W. and Arlene G. (Gundrum) Shaak. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Seibert, who passed in 2008. Loretta is survived by and sadly missed by her son Richard Tobias and her daughter Melissa Tobias.

Loretta was also blessed with three wonderful grandchildren: Kimberly, married to Devon Lutz, and Madison and Chase Young.

She is also survived by her brother, Larry Shaak, and his wife Evelyn; a sister, Lu Layser, and her husband Steve; and niece, Shannon, and nephews, Chris and Matthew, as well as four grandnieces, all of whom will also miss her greatly. Loretta had step daughters and step grandchildren too.

For over fifty years Loretta remained close friends with Norman Tobias. His help to her was always appreciated by Loretta.

Loretta was a 1973 ELCO graduate. She worked at Quest Inc. and at Pennsylvania Precision Cast Parts in Lebanon.

Spending time with her children and grandchildren brought Loretta great joy as she loved them more than anything. Animals, especially dogs and cats, were also a favorite of hers throughout her life. Loretta’s faithful companion for many years was her beloved dog Cannon.

She enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. Loretta always had a warm friendly smile
and a sweet laugh.
