Loretta M. Koehler, 90, of Lititz, passed away Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024, at Legend of Lititz. She was the loving wife of the late James D. “Jim” Koehler, who passed away in 2023.
Born in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late John and Caroline (Raber) Cavalier.
Loretta graduated from Lebanon High School in 1951 and retired as a clerical typist with the federal government. She was an accomplished knitter, enjoyed crocheting, and won several blue ribbons at the Delaware State Fair. Loretta sang in the church choir and played the organ. She formerly attended Kimmerling’s Church. She enjoyed gardening and had a green thumb for her rose garden. Loretta played Pinochle in her card group for over 50 years.
She is survived by three children, Linda, wife of Don Rubright, of Nashville, TN, Michael Koehler, and wife, Sharon, of Lititz, and Vikki, wife of John Wilbourne, of Lillington, NC; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Joanne Leaman, of Florida.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 2, 2024, at 11 a.m., from Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of her service at the funeral home.
